How being radically honest helps you with liking yourself more

14/02/2018

Radical honesty, this book by Brad Blanton can be a real life changer, it certainly was for me. After I heard about it I kept it in the back of my mind, thinking I probably could try not lying, not even small, white lies. Little did I know that not lying is still not honesty when you keep… Read More How being radically honest helps you with liking yourself more

How can you actually start loving yourself – part I.

About Me

I’m Petra, a Hungarian transpersonal psychology enthusiast. I created this blog to share the things I’ve learned on my journey to self-love. I’d like to see the people who I love falling in love with themselves, and I think everyone needs some more self-love. It won’t make you selfish or a narcissist; when you love and accept yourself, when you are able to be with yourself in a compassionate way, you will accept others more the way they are, and it will help you to give them a kind of love that doesn’t judge, doesn’t demand.

But more importantly: you will be able to give yourself the love, attention, care and acceptance you need, instead of craving to get it from others.

Disclaimer

I don’t have any kind of therapist qualifications whatsoever. Everything I write here should be taken as friendly advice. If you are really down or you are struggling for a longer period of time you might want to consider seeing a therapist, they could help you tremendously.
